Catembe Gallery Hotel - Maputo

Property was quirky and relaxing, we appreciated this place.

The hotel was fairly clean with fairly friendly staff. The room was panoramic, had comfy and included a coffeemaker and fridges. The view of Maputo skyline it had was magnificent!

The room had a nice design with a bathroom 🔥 and a lovely view. the staff were amazing from check-in to check-out, top-notch service all around.

We didn't have time, but we would stay here again and again. It was in a beachfront setting to pick us up at Maputo airport to take us to the ferry. It was 2 km from Giraffe Stop, offering quick-service food. The service was superb, no complaints whatsoever.

Everything was flawless.

Enjoyed a relaxing stay during my recent business trip. Stayed in a functional double room with a TV and an excellent view. the hotel is beachfront. Convenient location with a market and chemist's right next door.

Quaint and relaxing hotel in a lovely area not far from the ferry and the mainland. Compact and panoramic units with a seaview. Amiable staff. Incredible location, just a short stroll away from the giant ferris wheel.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The location is perfect, right on the beach with a stunning view of Maputos skyline across the bay. The hotel offers direct access to the beautiful Catembe beach, allowing us to relax and enjoy the sun and sand. The staff members were incredibly friendly and eager to accommodate our every request. We felt well taken care of, especially with the new Manager and owners on board. The service, from room service to housekeeping, was top-notch. The hotel also offers a range of amenities such as a swimming pool, massage services, and a sun terrace, making our stay even more enjoyable. the hotel provided a luxurious experience with enhanced comfort and quality services.

The only downside of this place was that there isn't much to do on the property itself. However, we found that the hotel's location and the beautiful surroundings more than made up for it.
